Why the mountain has something to say

Whatever you worry about, you are making it your God. You are making it bigger than you, bigger than your Spirit, and giving away your power.

Worry is real. So are you. So is Spirit, and Spirit has more authority than any of it. The Sage will not ask you to stop chopping wood or carrying water. The Sage only asks you to remember that the real work is to play, to create, and to have fun. Everything is a little thing.

So every day, a short note from the mountain lands in your inbox. It is funny on purpose and kind on purpose.

Good morning. I have been standing here for roughly 593,000 years, and I have seen a lot of Tuesdays. Every single one of them passed.

The thing you are turning over in your head this morning is not bigger than your Spirit. It is barely bigger than my left foothill.

Today’s play: put on one song you love and do something small and ridiculous while it plays. Everything is a little thing. Even that one.
